About Me
Hello! My name is Saskia, currently living in London,UK.
My early life began in the Netherlands wearing hand-knitted jumpers sent from my Dutch-Indonesian grandmother in New Zealand.
From the age of four, I lived in the Bay of Islands NZ where I was surrounded by crafts of all kinds! Ranging from knitting, felting, sewing and just about anything else crafty my mother could get her hands on.
The seed was 'sewn' and when I ended up with a little extra time on my hands I picked up some knitting needles and have been creating ever since.
A few years in Australia had me perfecting my craft before a change of plans led me to San Francisco where I spent 3 months enjoying the sunshine and meeting amazing lifelong friends!
Now I am in London with a gorgeous kitten named Frankie, who makes knitting a very tricky task (unless she's asleep).
